Check each appliance for overheating when you unplug it. Unplug all appliances that are plugged into outlets on that circuit and turn off all the lights then try the breaker again. To reset a tripped circuit breaker turn off the breaker by moving the switch or handle to the off position and then turn it back on. When an appliance or light fixture suddenly goes dead it is very likely that a circuit breaker has tripped and interrupted the power flowing to the electrical circuit. If your fuse switch has tripped after you ve been using a lot of appliances in one room you ve likely overloaded the circuit. For safety it s a good idea to stand back or to the side of the panel for safety just in case any sparks come from the breaker when it s moved or to wear safety goggles when resetting a circuit breaker. If it stays on plug the appliances back in one by one until it trips again and service or discard the appliance that makes it trip.
